Tuna Mornay
This Tuna Mornay recipe is an easy and economical fish dish to make for large families and dinner parties.
Ingredients
• 1 cup long grain rice
• 150g baby spinach leaves, wilted and chopped
• 1 1/2 cups milk
• 1/3 cup KRAFT Cream Cheese Spread
• 1 1/2 tablespoons flour
• 425g can tuna in spring water, drained
• 1/2 cup parsley leaves, chopped
• 3 tspns Sea Food Sprinkle - Outback Pride
• Salt & pepper to taste
• 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
• 1/2 cup grated tasty cheese
• salad to serve
Method
- COOK rice in a saucepan of boiling water for 10-12 minutes until tender. Drain and toss through spinach. Spread mixture over the base of a greased shallow oven proof dish.
- WHISK together milk, cheese spread and flour in a saucepan over a low heat until smooth and thickened slightly. Remove from heat and stir in tuna, parsley and seasoning's. Pour evenly over rice mixture.
- COMBINE breadcrumbs and cheese and sprinkle over the tuna mixture. Bake at 190°C for 20 minutes or until crumbs are golden brown. Serve with a side salad.
